ORANGE WINE TRAILS: such a range of wineries to choose from

BORENORE TRAIL

Experience the beauty of Borenore – its people, produce and history, a short drive west of Orange.

Make more time to visit Borenore Caves, Borenore Village with 1885 Railway Station or the traditional aboriginal grave of scarred trees of Yuranigh, Major Mitchell’s guide.

Wineries on this trail include Heifer Station, Orange Mountain Wines, Swinging Bridge. While not on the Borenore Trail we can include a visit to Mortimers Wines.

MOUNTAIN TRAIL

Less than 10 minutes from town, it’s got the lot! Mountain walks and lookouts, wineries, restaurants and farm gates.

There’s Pinnacle Lookout, views to Mt Canobolas, Mountain Bike trails and in Autumn Campbell’s Corner is not to be missed. Wineries on this trail include Philip Shaw, Ross Hill, Brangayne, Borrodell, Colmar Estate and Word of Mouth.

CARGO ROAD TRAIL

The trail winds around the northern slopes and forests of Mount Canobolas, dropping down through Lidster on the way to Cargo and Canowindra.

When in season the Apple and Cherry orchards are a must stop. Pick your own.

Wineries on this trail include Rowlee, Nashdale, Printhie, De Salis, Cargo Road, Stockmans Ridge, Byrne Farm, Dindima, Strawhouse, Montoro and Small Acres Cyder.

MILlTHORPE TRAIL

Discover historical Millthorpe, considered one of the most beautiful small towns in NSW. Not only can you wander around the village, you can also experience three great cellar doors - Slow Wine Company, Angullong Wines and organic wines at Tamburlaine. Mix your day up with adding on a visit to one of the Lucknow loop cellar doors on the way there. Enjoy a pub lunch , or pop into Millthorpe Providore for the best coffee and treats in town.

LUCKNOW LOOP

Discover the sensational Lucknow Loop Wine Trail, including Mayfield Vineyard with its beautiful grounds and its cellar door in the old The Schoolhouse that dates back to the late 1800's. ChaLou Wines, who are an authentic bud to bottle winery/vineyard. Winemakers, Nadia and Steve have a genuine love of farming. and sustainability. Patina Wines offer a unique cellar door set in a hectare of stunning gardens, and Highland Heritage, one of the oldest vineyards in Orange.
